This writing book is designed to transition students from chalkboard to paper. The lines in the book provide a base line (the branch) a Marggin (the tree trunk) a dotted line (the broken branch, and a top line (top branch) in each set. The space between the bottom line and the dotted line is shaded green to show clearly the space in which lowercase letters are formed.

An occupational therapist for over 25 years, Fiona Lilley, has specialised in working with children with developmental delays and/or learning difficulties. Based in Auckland, Fiona has integrated Barbara Brann’s Resources into her work.
