School Depot offers Carbon Checkout at checkout for customers wanting to offset their carbon footprint. It is a great way to contribute towards crowd funding for climate change. Small contributions goes a long way to help protect the environment.

• Balance in one-click: You now have the option to balance the carbon footprint of their order. Default contributions are a round-up value, with 245 lbs of CO2 emissions offset per $1 contributed. Contributions are added to cart total and automatically collected at checkout. There is no page reload, no added user registration or checkout requirements, just one-click to check the box.

• Track in one-click: Participating customers receive an automated confirmation e-mail with a unique hyperlinked verification code, where they can access their personal Carbon Portfolio and track their contributions and funded carbon offset projects in real-time.
• Carbon Checkout pools all contributions into a fund to make significant investments in renewable energy projects that reduce global carbon emissions. School Depot and Our customers become part of a powerful movement to reduce the effects of climate change through collective action, it’s as simple as one-click.
• Contributions are collected by School Depot at checkout. Carbon Checkout tracks all contributions in real-time, and distributes electronic invoices to School Depot when the collected contribution balance reaches USD $25.00
